Popsicle Stick Dragonflies

Do you have a bug obsessed kiddo? Make some Popsicle Stick Dragonflies to play with and decorate your space! Finished popsicle stick dragonflies.

These Popsicle Stick Dragonflies are super cute and easy to make. It’s the perfect craft for a variety of ages and it gives kiddos creativity within limits. I don’t know about you, but I’m always a bit relived when I see a project that doesn’t require paint! 

There’s so many possibilities to this craft, obviously kids can play with their dragonfly creations, but how cute would a dragonfly garland be for spring? Or a dragonfly mobile for a new baby or a kids room decoration? The possibilities are endless!  Supplies needed for the popsicle stick dragonflies- googly eyes, washi tape, popsicle sticks and pipe cleaners.

Popsicle Stick Dragonflies

Supplies

  • Popsicle sticks
  • Washi tape
  • Plastic eyes
  • Pipe cleaner
  • Glue

Directions to Create Popsicle Stick Dragonflies

washi tape onto popsicle sticks for craft.

Step One: place a piece of washi tape on top of a popsicle stick to cover the top of the stick.

Step Two: glue a set of plastic eyes on top of the washi tape.

Creating a figure eight with a pipe cleaner by bending it.
Step Three: create a figure eight with a pipe cleaner to create wings.

gluing the pipe cleaners to the popsicle sticks for the final step of the project.

Step Four: glue the wings to the back of the popsicle stick.

And now you have your super cute Popsicle Stick Dragonfly Craft. What will you do with them? The possibilities are endless!
