My son and I were so excited to see the Harlem Globetrotters for the first time at the Target Center in Minneapolis! And we were not disappointed. The Harlem Globetrotters were very entertaining and fun to watch. If anything, we were both a bit sad when the game was over!
The Harlem Globetrotters played the Washington Generals, both teams made a lot of baskets and cool plays, but the Globetrotters came out on top! Seeing their tricks firsthand was incredible. How can they spin those basketballs like that?
At the end of the game, both teams invited kids down for autographs. I purchased a basketball for my son to get his autographs on, but some kids brought their own, had shirts or posters for the players to sign. While it was a bit chaotic trying to meet my son’s favorite players, it was very kind that the players and coaches take time to meet with fans and encourage younger players.
We would highly recommend going to a Harlem Globetrotters game! It ran a little over two hours and was super entertaining! I could see bringing your littlest kids here even if they weren’t into basketball yet. The tricks, dances, games and more were super entertaining and we can’t wait to see the Harlem Globetrotters again when they come to town!
