About Me: My name is Chrysa and I’m a busy blogger and happy auntie of Little R, who I spend time with several days per week – which ends up being the FAVORITE part of my week! We love to cook together, do crafts, play outside and turn boring errands into fun adventures.
While Jinxy Kids falls into the “Mom Blog” category, it’s actually an “Auntie Blog”!
Little R: Here is the kid himself. Born in 2008 he’s a fun, sweet, smart-as-a-tack boy who is always up for an adventure. Living in Minneapolis, he’s definitely a city kid, but loves to play outside and with animals. (And he’s kind. He even helps out squirrels by cracking open acorns and leaving them in the yard as treats.)
Laura is a former high school English teacher turned avid deal shopper following the birth of her first child. Now she’s a work-from-home mom of six which keeps her plenty busy!
On the off chance she gets some free time you’ll find her with her nose in a book, spending time with family and friends, or enjoying a hot cup of coffee.
Kelly is a wife, mom of 5 (2 are furry), camera bug, tech lover, gadget grabber, travel enthusiast, music aficionado and TV junkie. Her goal is to share with you recipes, DIY ideas and crafts that are fun, easy to make and won’t break the bank. You can also find her at Kicking it with Kelly.
Kristi: Kristi is married with twin girls in middle school. She grew up on a small dairy farm, but now lives in the southern suburbs of the Twin Cities. She enjoys finding free or thrifty things to do whether they are outings close to home or last minute adventures to far-away places. She can also be found enjoying estate sales, attempting to garden, volunteering in the wetlands or a favorite thrift store, or maybe just enjoying a good play in one of the many theatre venues in the area.
