As a work-from-home mom, I love that school is back in session…but at the same time, I find myself missing having my kids home and spending time with them. That’s why my husband and I have recently decided to start weekly family traditions like Friday night movie night. It’s a great time for us to relax together as a family after a busy week of work and school. We all look forward to it immensely!
I have five children, ages 10 down to almost 2, and it can be tricky to find family-friendly content that keeps all of us entertained. Sometimes movie night becomes TV night instead, in which a few kiddos get to pick out one show each. We still watch together as a family, but this way everyone knows there will be something on that interests them!
Kabillion is a new family-friendly streaming platform that fits in well with our new movie night/TV night! It gives families “kabillions” of amazing shows right at their fingertips. Even better, it’s completely FREE!
We were so excited to turn our most recent movie night into TV night. Kabillion sent me a family night pack complete with a Roku Streaming Stick for easy watching at home, plus popcorn, of course!
It was very easy to find and install the Kabillion app on Roku. We were up and running in no time!
Kabillion offers a wide range of popular animated content for kids of all ages, and you can quickly sort by age and content to find the right shows for your kids.
I was thrilled to discover the classic Thomas the Tank Engine and My Little Pony for my little ones, and there are new shows like Bubu and the Little Owls that are age-appropriate for them, as well.
My older kids were excited to see Pokemon and Sonic X, plus Barbie Dreamtopia, Transformers Prime, and other favorites for that age group.
Kabillion also features plenty of cherished classics, like Bobby’s World and Gumby, that bring my husband and I back to our childhood. More programming is being added to the app all the time. We’re looking forward to seeing what’s next!
Kabillion is available as a FREE app on Roku, XUMO, Amazon Fire TV, and Apple TV, which makes it ideal for road trips and taking the kiddos on the go. It’s also available as a free Video On Demand service with most major cable providers.
Check out Kabillion for yourself and switch up your next family night!
