We’re looking forward to Dr. Seuss’ birthday and rounding up some fun Lorax themed crafts and free printable activities!
Each March both children and adults celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday on March 2. No other American writer has had a bigger impact on children’s literature than Dr. Seuss himself.
His imaginative characters, vivid illustrations, and catchy rhymes are instantly recognizable to anyone who grew up reading his fantastical stories.
This year, in honor of his birthday, we have some fun ideas to help your kids celebrate including The Lorax crafts and The Lorax free printables.
First up we have this Handprint Lorax Craft. It’s fun and easy to make with homemade microwave salt dough. You only need to mix up a few ingredients to mold a hand print that’s then painted to look like the Lorax.
For more Dr. Seuss Lorax fun, make this Lorax Truffula Tree Seed Craft! Print out our Lorax quotes and attach to the trees along with a packet of seeds to make a special gift.
The Truffula Seeds free printable tags feature the quote “Unless someone like you cares a whole lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not!”
Download a FREE “The Lorax” printable preschool pack. It includes a number order puzzle, Truffula Tree spinner, honeycomb maze, and more – a total of 15 activities.
