Help preschoolers reinforce beginning math skills, like number recognition and counting, by using their own toy cars with these free printable Toy Car Road Number Mats!
These number mats are an excellent way to help your child with numbers using a toy car. They can be used simply for number recognition, but they’re also a way to introduce making numbers. It’s the perfect hands-on way for them to understand how to create the shape through play.
Teach your toddler to trace the numbers by following the road. They can use their car to navigate their way around the shape of the number.
For more number fun, have your child count out their toy cars and place a matching number of cars on top of each number. (You can do this for one number at a time if you don’t have a large amount of cars.
