Celebrate March with a fun Lion and Lamb activity – a free printable March maze!

March is an interesting month, especially when it comes to whether. We have all heard the saying “March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb” and it is so often true!

The weather at the beginning of March can be quite frightful! Here in Minnesota March is likely to come in like a lion roaring with snowstorms or maybe even ice storms.

Then by the time we get to the end of the month and head into April, the weather is much more peaceful, so we say it goes out like a gentle lamb. (Well, that is probably more likely to be the case in other parts of the country because we might still be getting a snowstorm here!)

Anyway, if you’re looking for fun March lion and lamb activities, we have turned this concept of this phrase into a free printable March Lion & Lamb maze.

The maze starts with a lion and kids can use a pencil, pen or crayon to work their way through the maze, representing the month of March, until they come out to the lamb at the end.
