You only need a few supplies to make this fun Egg Carton and Tissue Paper Ghost Halloween craft!
This is a fun craft that is easy for kids to do with a little help from a grown-up. The result makes a fun ghost. Make a whole bunch of them so they can bang together to decorate the room!
Supplies:
Empty egg carton (cardboard or styrofoam)
White tissue paper
Glue stick
Black marker
Orange ribbon or yarn
Scissors
How to Make Tissue Paper Ghosts:
Cut an individual cup from the egg carton and trim edges. Cut two 12″x12″ squares from the white tissue paper. Angle the paper squares with the points in opposite directions (see picture above). Cover top and side of egg cup with glue. Wrap tissue around cup.
Cut an 8″ length of ribbon. Tie ends together to form a loop.
Punch a slit in the middle of the egg cup with the scissors and slide the ribbon through, letting the knot catch inside to hold it up as a hanger.
Use marker to draw eyes and a mouth on your ghost. Hang up your spooky creation!
